Denija

Denija. 20 years. Addicted to music, RPG and TV shows. Loves future king Arthur Pendragon, The Doctor and Captain Jack Harkness (and other fictional characters). Adores Brian Kinney, vanilla ice-cream, pineapple juice, earrings, sea, books and smiles. Likes HP, Veronica Mars, Supernatural, Prison Break, IT Crowd, Heroes, HIMYM, Stargate Atlantis and tons of other TV shows despite the fact that she's extremely busy. Redhead with blue eyes. Addicted to Christmas and everything about it. Studies computer science and information technologies, hates crisis in Latvia, has left capital city Riga & has moved to another city. Very often you can hear her talking about shining (no, she's not Sparkling Edward fangirl) and singing songs from "Enchanted". Turns out that she's OMGOMG type person and everything is about emotions to her. Also she loves to talk about herself in third person.

Merlin (BBC)
Character: Arthur (Arthur/Guinevere)
About: Finally I have seen all episodes of "Merlin". And I so love this show - it's like magic, whenever I think that all good shows are over or on hiatus and there's nothing that I could watch, something shows up. I find Merlin because of my flist *hugs, ily!* , there was some Merlin icons somewhere and I was like "hey, who's that blond guy?" (since when I like blond guys? *le sigh* ) And then I find out that it's not even movie, it's a TV show and the blond guy is named Arthur. And then it hit me. Merlin and Arthur. And I was like "OMG, don't tell me, no way!" Those editors are genius, I love the idea of young (and stupid ;D) Merlin and young (and sexy) Arthur. And the best part is - it's not boring historical TV show about future king Arthur, it's so funny and nice (and sexy) that it owns my heart from the first to the last episode. And I love how new characters shows up, like Lancelot and Mordred. And episode about Excalibur... all the episodes I was like -omggivethatswordtoarthur!- It's so funny to watch it, because we know how it will end (or shoud I say - continue?) For the first time in mt TV show experience it's good to know all the spoilers about Arthur, the mighty Excalibur sword and stuff. And actors are great. And yes, I think that Arthur is... *le sigh* For the first time I really like character who literally is prince in shiny armor. XD So, yeah, if you haven't seen it, you have missed a lot. Go and watch Merlin, now!

Veronica Mars

About: It took me only a one week to watch all three seasons (becauseiwasaddicted). Some of my LJ friends were talking about this one, so I decided to watch it, and yeah, it was totally worth it. First seasons was the best, third - worst. :| I don't know, maybe it's just little odd me that thinks so, but third season ends weird, I think they should make 4th season or at least movie, otherwise it seems incomplete (and I'm not talking only about Veronica and Piz and Logan). Anyways, I loved Logan from the very first episode I would never imagine that he will fall in love with Veronica, they first kiss was "O_O OMG" for me and yeah, I think LoVe is one of the best couples in TV shows, they are so different and so complicated that I understand why they won't (can't) be together and still they are crazy for each other and I'm crazy for them. I loved their dialogs and actually almost all dialogs in this TV show, they were so funny and sarcastic. Oh, and also I didn't like Duncan :| Anyway, I love Veronica Mars. <3

Queer as Folk (US)

About: My truly obsession. Find about this one much unexpected – I was searching ‘Forever Young’ video and almost everyone was about ‘QaF’. At first I ignore it, but then I was curious – what the hell is ‘Queer as Folk’ ? At first I saw some videos about UK version and I didn’t like it, I read some comments and they were talking about USA version. And so it began. At first it was only some random scenes from a serial at YouTube. I’m not prejudicial, I have nothing against homosexual people so then I downloaded all 5 seasons and watched it in 5 days (yes, lots of QaF and very less of sleep). I became obsessed. I love Brian Kinney as character – he really is some kind of god as Justin said in the first season. And I cried very much about ending & actually I must confess – the end of 5th (and fcuking last!) season made me full of depression and sadness – I barely could sleep or think. I do understand that this wasn’t normal and it’s just a tv-show, but after the sad end of ‘Doctor Who’ I couldn’t accept another unhappy ending (although it wasn’t very sad, they even didn’t break up, but I have that strange feeling – they won’t be together). Anyway I recommend watching it for everyone (unless you are conservative). One day I will be rich and will open my own ‘Babylon’. XD. By the way – this show contains very good music too (I found lots of good songs). (:

Supernatural
Characters: Dean, Castiel
About: *squee* I am Supernatural addicted. I have seen all episodes so far and can't wait for next ones (yey for supernatural-thursdays!) I was not too exited about it's plot at first, but it was getting better and better and actors were great (someone once told me, that Supernatural is good mostly because of Dean and Sam and that someone was right.) I like Dean more than Sam, but they are perfect as team. ^_____^ ~~I'm not so excited about 4th season as I was about 3rd :P~~ Changed my mind - GO CASTIEL!!! I still love it and it is still full of surprises and each episode is better than previous, I love all the tension, angst and fucking amazing idea about angles, devils and apocalypse, those writers are genius! Actually I don't know what to say, I just know that all my friends who are watching this show, loves it too. And nobody have ever told me that he or her doesn't like SPN. So yeah, basically I have another one 'i-love-it' TV show.

Prison Break
Ships: Michael/Sara
About: When Sara died (and OMG she didn’t died) I was one of those fans, who decided that ‘this is it’ and decided not to watch it anymore. I loved 1st season, I wasn’t so excited about second one (although Sara/Michael moments were great) and I didn't like beginning of third. That’s why I didn't watch it and lived with my happy memories about ‘Prison Break’. (By the way I even made fan videos about Michael and Sara. ;D) Ha, inmyface, I started to watch it again. And I can't belive that I dumped that show. I guess I was tired of PB and then there was news about Sara (I didn't even see that episode only in some fan-videos at youtube), actually I hadn't seen almost anything from Prison Break 3rd season. I have now. ^_____^ It's amazing, 3rd season is amazing! I have seen only first 4 episodes from 3rd season, but they were oh-so-great. And I have seen first 3 episodes of 4th season :D Yes, I'm breaking my own rules and watching 2 seasons a once, because I was so desperate to see how Michael and Sara will meet each other that I decided to watch that one apisode, it was so interesting that I watched another and another... Now I have PB marathon, I will watch all episodes from 3rd season today / tonight, because I'm desperate to see others from 4th season. Prison Break is back in my life. <3
Updated: Have seen all. Cried a lot, loved a lot. This was the first TV show that I watched in English, this was the first I felt for, first and only one who inspired me to make fan-videos and stuff. I guess I will never forget Prison Break and for me it will always be a one bloody epic TV Show. Michael <3.

How I Met Your Mother
Ships: Barney/Robin
About: Well... What can I say? I love HIMYM. If you don't know what it is, you definitely must see this serial. It's fantastic, because it's funny, light and makes you smile and laugh. There's no big dramas and tears only joy and very-very small dramas (no one is going to parallel universe or dieing because of grater good) witch usually are funny for watchers. I ship Robin and Barney, because Barney simply is the best and he deserves to fall in love :P And Robin isn't "I'm romantic girl who wants to get married and ride away in sunset" so she is a perfect choice, isn't she, Barney? :D All my hopes goes to them, but I love other characters too. Thanks to Olga, because I would never find about HIMYM by myself.

Doctor Who

About: I don’t remember why I decided that I could watch ‘Doctor Who’. I hadn’t heard anything about it – no good, no bad. But I wanted to watch it. I remember that I was shocked about first episode – I didn’t like it (shame on me, yeah). I was upset – OMG, it’s stupid sci-fi, I don’t like sci-fi! But… something inside me was curious and I watched next episode too. And next. And next. And next. Until I fell in love with ‘Doctor Who’. And then David Tennant appeared. Oh.My.God. He is THE BEST DOCTOR ever. I became obsessed with ‘Doctor Who’, but then my computer crashed and all series was gone. Also Rose was gone and there was that new girl Martha, she was nice, but not half as good as Rose and I decided not to watch this show anymore. Almost a year later I suddenly realized that everyone is still talking about ‘Doctor Who’ and David Tennant. I was shocked – who the hell is Donna? What they are talking about? And I realized that I do want to watch ‘Doctor Who’ again. And I don’t regret that I did. It’s amazing th-show. Uh… I had great moments with this show – all this ‘i-need-next-episode’ waiting, hopes about Doctor and Rose, laugh and tears. ‘Doctor Who’ convinced to me that sci-fi can be amazing. And also… there was Captain Jack Harkness, but this is another story. ;)

Torchwood
Ships: Jack/Ianto & Owen/Gwen
About: OMG. Captain Jack Harkness. OMG. THE OMG. I can’t even breath normally when I think about him. ;D He is too good to be true (and I’m not talking about immortality). There is no special story about Torchoowd, like all DW fans I find out about it and watched. OMGOMGOMG again. I love Torchwood, because it is... better than anything else. It has everything that in my opinion need for good TV series. I loved it from first to last second and I can't wait for more. And I will very very miss Owen. (And Jack is hot. :P )
Updated: 4th season... epic... and... well... I HATE YOU BBC. :P

Heroes
Character: Peter Petrelli
About: Well I’m not very big fangirl of ‘Heroes’, but still I like it very much. I was with my friend, we were watching Torchwood and talking about tv-shows and about ‘Heroes’ too. Next time we met I had ‘Heroes’ in my computer and we watched it. And OMG I liked it, especially Peter (I don’t like Milo, but as Peter he is… very good). First season was good, but second…! I think that 2nd was 10 times better than first. It was more impressive, more exciting, more everything. Especially those series when Peter has amnesia (or something like that). I haven't seen 3rd season. And I won't watch it until it ends. This is how I watch Heroes.

House M.D.

About: I was a fan girl of ‘House M.D’, but when my computer crushed and I lost all episodes unlike it was with ‘Doctor Who’ I didn’t want to watch it again. I don’t know why. I loved all episodes, all seasons, House, his humor and everything else, but for me… I was bored. Really I was! All that ‘everybody-lies’, ‘vicodine is mine’, ‘House is selfish’… enough is enough. I love House, always will, but I don’t want to see 4th season and anything else too. Maybe after some months I will says something else, who knows?

Grey’s Anatomy

About: I have seen only first and second season, but I’m still watching it – the reason why I haven’t seen next ones – it’s the only one tv-show that I watch in Latvian. I know that in English it would sound ten times better, but I started to watch it at tv and I do want at least one show which I haven’t seen in two days. Usually I watch all episodes as fast as I can, and I like the idea of waiting – one episode in a week. I do not remember when I saw first episode and why I decided to watch it, because I don’t watch TV (YEAH, I’m lame) usually. Anyway I love it – it is so real, so… non-heroic, about pain, about all stupid things that happens and we learn that good and sexy doctors have they problems too, life is not only about love and pain, there are millions of other things.

Music is my love. I'm not one style music person, I'm listening rock, pop, metal, classic, jazz and anything else. My favurite singer is James Blunt (I'm melting everytime when he sings) and my favourite band - Avenged Sevenfold. Also you can find me at last.fm. :)
